Thea listened as Loki explained his concerns and as he continued to speak, she could feel the heat rise up from her stomach and into her chest. She knew that Loki's mind was on the journey to Jotunheim, but she didn't expect him to take such a turn in the conversation.
She swallowed, trying to gather her thoughts before she spoke. What would she do? Her mouth had gone dry. "She's a very rational woman," Thea began, after she took another quick sip of her drink to try and wet her throat. "If my homeland was being run by the wrong people, I would want to see it changed and done right." But it wasn't that easy, was it? "But if I were planning to have a child... that might take precedence. But as a queen... your people come first, do they not?"
