Re: Frisson | 4-1-2019 | Afternoon
Should we do it now? Nate pondered while he got funky, much funkier than he would have under normal circumstances. "Let's tell them later, clearly," he parroted Eva as though it was also his idea. Honestly, he would have thought she'd want to wait, at least a few days... but she was intent - as intent as he was. Which made Nathaniel's emotions soar, far above the castle and impromptu dance floor, as if from a Michael Jackson video.
He smirked, now in a green suit after Eva's magical, theatric quick change. "Nice choice," he told her, then remembered his favorite feature of the purple dress she'd selected. "I'll be nibbling those legs soon enough," he teased when he'd been close enough to whisper.
"Where shall we go?" he asked, then danced out like nobody was watching. "Do I have time to tap Brayden?" Nate said, knowing his son would be upset if he missed this - more for the addition of Eva as a step-mother than for Nate finding happiness. He loved that boy.
Nate snatched Eva up into a hold and dipped her to the music. "Take me there, love," Nate instructed his very-soon-to-be wife with a smile, not a smirk, a god damned smile.
