Re: Tabula Rasa (half-let)
"Huh." The princess was a bit speechless at his anecdote about his weird visit back home. But then she quickly regained her voice: "It wasn't his age that made you creepy," she said in a consoling voice and even offered him an affectionate pat to the top of his hand. He was always creepy.
"Oh." He'd gone to her lab. "Oh." He'd been a proper student of the X-Men. "Oh." IKEA sold crappy furniture and he felt like one of their products. "You sounded like a really bad ad for the company, by the way. Like, if they never wanted to sell anything again, they'd hire you to do that exact voice-over." But she saw his point. Missing pieces. She sighed. "Mateo seems to be taking things in stride, but..." he was so fluid he might as well have been a water mutant.
"Anyway, we should figure out our actual feelings before we do anything stupid." Like makeout again on a bed and let things escalate. That wasn't how she wanted her first time to go down. At least, she didn't think so? Maybe it was. Someone safe...? But he was a skin vampire. Errr. "Alfheim field trip tonight?" They could hit a weird elf rave or something.
