Re: Attractancy
Good. She knew his proper title. Then Nathaniel nearly (nearly) rolled his eyes at her declaration about not being married in Helheim, the length of time they'd been together, and even that she'd compare their relationship to what she shared with Thor. However, seemingly knowing the amount of pure Nate snark she was certainly scheduled to receive and queen verbalized something new. Soulmates? Yes, he already understood the concept with Eva and knew that she felt similarly, but for her to be so open about it? Stop the presses. In just a few moments she'd vocalized emotions he'd long since buried and assumed were things he'd felt alone or if they were shared - they'd simply never be mentioned again. His heart and mind soared in that tiny closet. He... wait? Tom Sawyer'd?
"You in no way, shape, or form deceived me into..." Nathaniel had started his sentence before his mind had completely replayed the scenario. He remembered that day like it was yesterday: the passage he'd been reading when she entered his room, her clothes, her hair, the way the light reflected in her eyes, the fresh snickerdoodles, her lack of understanding... Oh bother. "Temptress," Nate accused under his breath when he pulled Eva in closer and shared another kiss. "Your idea can wait, while I revel in your past treachery," Nate informed her with a wicked smirk on his lips. "You playing the naïve and impetuous student to my learned professor, curses I should have seen it," his eyes glanced to the ceiling while the sweet reevaluation crashed around him.
"You blinded me, but not that day, the first day I'd met you - during that fateful snowstorm. You intrigued me, you infatuated my brain," he lamented but with a loving expression upon his features. "In that moment, when you came to me, I ate those warm treats and wished it was your warmth against my lips," he shared, his eyes locked into Eva's. "I licked the sugar from my finger tips and silently begged it to be your sweetness," he admitted and drew Eva closer to once again kiss her lips. "Somehow, I'm even more in love with you after this discovery," he lied, it would have been impossible for his love for her to grow any greater, it already knew no bounds. "Tell me your idea before I lose it in a fit of passion," he warned then used his hands to press her hips into his leg.
