Re: Marvy
Though Orrin was taking care to tread lightly on the stone floor (out of respect for the area they currently inhabited), his steps were still quite apparent. He listened intently as Troy continued the vague talk that the queen of Asgard had begun with. "I am happy to be of service," he said, keeping his eyes forward as they walked. He was relieved to know it was positive news instead of negative, but he was very curious to see what he and Rhiannon could do for them.
The room was rather full of people, though the only patient was shrouded by a curtain. He had heard what had happened to the young woman and his two hearts when out to the cousin of Qiana. Instead of greeting them like he normally would, Orrin moved closer to where Eva sat and his normally controlled expression faltered as he saw what she held. His eyes widened as he took in the newly created centaur child. It had been quite a while since he'd seen a centaur babe and though this one was rather smaller than others he had seen, there was no mistaking what it, no - she was. "That is incredible." he said, his deep voice was quiet, but full of wonder. "She's beautiful." His blue eyes flashed to Jo for a few seconds and he bowed his head in respect.
Thea's head turned towards the door as the god of the forest led the centaur and Lady Rhiannon inside. She offered them both a smile and her hand moved to squeeze Jo's shoulder in a gesture of support, though she said nothing.
He took another step forward before he lowered himself down onto the floor, so he could get closer look. Orrin wanted to reach out and take the sleeping form from the queen, but he refrained. It was obvious that they had not yet informed the mother of her daughter's condition. "What do you intend to do?" he asked Eva, his face now nearly level with hers where she sat in front of him. "Are you going to inform the mother of what has transpired?" Odin knew how she would react... "May I hold her?" his expression questioning, his voice soft.
