"It can be hard to let someone in, I understand this." Skadi continued. The Queen knew that more than a lot of others. "From what I have heard, your life has not been without hardships." she tried to smile again, achieving a more friendly look that she'd had earlier, "The past can be a hard thing to look back on," Skadi said, watching Rhia's face. "But you cannot let the past rule you. If you do, you will miss out on what could be a great opportunity." And opportunity to know her father and all of the advantage that came with it.
