Re: Esteem.
Jimmy: a spear. Enhanced sight and inner-strength, just like his bird, to aid in the hunt. David: a whip. A deeper connection with the dark arts, to aid in keeping them at bay. Troy: a wand. A druidic prophet, with a deeper connection to nature even still.
Eva? Hers had been a ring, all those months ago. It had since been placed under protection in the vaults and had belonged to Frigga. She'd not had a second to dwell on that memory when Troy made his announcement about the demon. It wasn't a surprise, per se, but an appreciated confirmation. If there had been other details, he would have offered them. She'd felt their experiences as emotions, but hadn't seen what Troy and Jimmy had witnessed. Her hand grasped more firmly to Nate's and she looked at him with a smirk at Troy's wand remark, but her head snapped back to Troy when he called Jimmy a spear-chucker. For gods' sake. "Troy."
He laughed.
She tried not to. Eva's forearms ached and her heart felt heavy, but she was fine for Thor to continue, knowing he had advice and even tasks for the three men who'd just become demi-gods. "Well done, Ridders of Asgard," she interjected before they all parted, giving each of them a fond smile (except Troy, she was still getting over his name calling with Proudstar).
