Re: Hello, friend.
Her heart was racing - the Odinsons were back. They moved toward the head of the room and she stood next to Natasha (a bit dumbly) holding her wine glass. Her smile warmed and she felt a light in her belly when Thor stopped to talk to Brayden. Their interactions meant more to the kiddo than Thor probably knew. But then... he set his sights on her. Eva nodded along with his proclamations, glad and surprised at the news of victory and rescue. 'Grandson?' she wondered with a bit of a smirk. "Granted," the queen said with a small, cautious smile toward the king.
And he was bunny hopping. Five steps. The smile slowly morphed into a giant grin that couldn't (and wouldn't) be hidden, and she met him at the edge of the dais with arms extended. Her face pressed against his chest armor as the clapping and cheers from his announcements began to quiet. "I'm glad you're home," Eva told Thor. "You are a good king..." her voice was low, quieter than usual, and she pulled him a bit closer so they could kiss.
"We should start a pool for baby number three," Troy said loudly from nearby in hopes of keeping the interaction to one kiss instead of, y'know, what usually happened (apparently). Oh! Lightning bolt to the hamstring. Not even sure which one did it.
