Re: Why worry?
He was a pusher, that's what he did; he pushed people, Zap paraphrased the Mean Girls dialogue to herself while outwardly ignoring Nate's continued attempts at Hand talk. She'd also swatted him in the upper arm when he asked for her nurse.
After Nate's ego-stroking, Eva kissed his lips, finally, feeling he'd earned it. She'd just have to do her best to keep from ravishing him. Woe. The queen grinned soon after, breaking the kissing and smiling dumbly at Nathaniel like a school girl being asked to prom. Public affection did sound tasty. Her arm had broken out in goosebumps multiple times when his lips had moved fondly up and down the length of the limb.
"You are as dastardly as you are clever," Zap teased. Creature stealing the queen - laughable (and she did). "I know we'll have to wait until we're at that point," she began, more seriously now, "but we should try to figure out a schedule. I need to make sure the kids have some normalcy - and can depend on me." That was crucial and not up for debate. She was agreeing to take on more duties - something that had only been loosely implied when she suggested being Nate's queen. But now that things were progressing closer to being a reality, Eva was struggling to ensure there would be a balance between her growing workload and her family - even though they were most-times entwined.
