Re: Why worry? She felt him lingering next door, of course, and the length of time Nate had spent in the other room had made her smile over the book she'd been not-really-reading. "You're not clever," Eva accused after Nate attempted to segue from Thor's snores to her choice in a replacement Hand. "It's Thor, and I'm not avoiding anything." Her lips were pressed together in a pursed grimace as she looked up at the delicious man who was stroking her head affectionately. She wasn't annoyed at all, of course, but they had their game.
"Sit," she said and moved her bent legs to accommodate his godly tush. Her eyes keyed in on Nathaniel's for a few moments of silence and the queen sat forward and kissed his nose (lips were dangerous). "I'll find someone when the time is right. It isn't like I'm not surrounded by helpful people all day. I don't," she sighed, "want to rush it." They'd fallen into their own relationship naturally - no titles, just common sense, and necessity. It'd made sense for him to help her in those early days. Now, she was sturdier on her feet as a ruler and as a magic user.
Zap smirked. "Besides, it has to be someone worthy." Literally. They'd need to travel with her, more or less. She was a dual-wielding queen now. "Any jitters about our announcement?" Y'know, where she'd be queen of a second realm and more-or-less married to another king too. That part would come after his claim on the throne, though. It was still fairly hush-hush. "Do you ever feel like we're plotting villains?" Her eyebrow quirked to pair with the smirk she wore once again.
