"You have a good point," she agreed, with another small laugh. Loki was the expert on hiding his feelings, but it seemed a old dog could learn new tricks as the Midgardians said. When he moved away from her, she resisted the urge to lean back into him and wiped at her cheeks instead with one sleeve. "I will not breathe a word of it," she said, raising a hand in salute.
She moved to stand and huffed out a sigh of resignation before she looked up into his face, her eyes searching his. "Yes," she said. "I think that would be for the best." Thea stepped forward onto her toes and kissed Loki softly on the lips. "Thank you, Loki" she whispered against his mouth before she moved back from him. Her head was feeling a bit swimmy, but she didn't regret a thing.
