Re: Baby, don't ever look back...
Thea's eyes narrowed at Loki's words about Thor having all the say. Eva and Thor were the married couple in the situation, but it didn't seem as simple as as all of that. There was a feeling of uneasiness in Thea's stomach as Loki continued down a different topic of conversation.
"I can't speak as to Nathaniel as a parent," she said, taking another drink of the fresh wine Loki had poured her. "I do not really know him very well, but the boy is getting older. More independent." He'd gone through an obvious physical change already.
"People learn from their parents," Thea said, with a small shrug. "They teach us what we should do." She'd seen the way her father had been with various women all throughout her life. The pain he'd caused a lot of them when he'd loved them and left them. "And not do." her voice had an edge to it.
She set her glass down and ate another grape, chewing it slowly before swallowing. "I think the children will be all right." she said finally. "Despite the queen's personal agenda, she is a very good mother. And you are right. Thor is a magnificent father." Thea a long drink of her wine, considering her next words carefully. "I think he is more like our beloved Queen Frigga than at first glance." She found herself growing teary eyed again and she set her glass down on the table. Perhaps she had imbibed too quickly and mixed with lack of food had caused her to speak more than she might have normally.
