She smirked at his acquiescence. He asked if he could join her and she nodded her head in acceptance. "No, that would be lovely," Thea assured him. Some company sounded nice at that moment, despite the late hour. Sharing a meal was usually more satisfying than eating alone, wasn't it? The blonde also knew that the trip to Helheim was on the rise and that might be weighing on him. Thea herself still had dreams about it after the two of them had made their own journey there for the basin.
"Come on, then," she crooked a finger at Loki and began walking in the direction of the kitchens.
There weren't as many people abuzz in kitchen at that time of night, but Thea and Loki were quickly given bread, cheese, and a plate of various fruits. There was also a pitcher of wine. Thea selected a grape and popped it into her mouth with a relish. She chewed contentedly for a few moments, enjoying the food as well as the feeling that accompanied a job well done. She swallowed and looked at Loki. "What is on your mind?"
