Re: If this world runs out of lovers, we'll still have each other. (1-11-19)
Eva was stunning, even after the ordeal she'd just experienced. Regardless of what the Goddess of Motherhood might have considered it, it was an ordeal to the Allfather. He carefully pulled his daughter into his hands and beamed a ten-billion watt smile down onto the child. "She's perfect, as is her mother," he whispered and gently bounced the napping baby where she laid against his chest. "She does have your family's cheek bones," Thor said after he spent an eternity inside a minute studying her little face.
The God of Thunder breathed in a heavy sigh and carefully collapsed into the chair next to Eva's bed. "Maybe we should wait for the next one," he teased and smirked (pleasantly) toward his recovering wife. "I love you," Thor needlessly reminded and smooched Astrid on the forehead. "She'll do great things," Thor added vaguely. Fatherly love or Allfather intuition? He himself wasn't sure of source. "The kingdom will rejoice," he promised his wife.
