"Don't whisper a word to anyone," Thor commanded when Sif commented about the possibility of him napping at a stance. "Why wouldn't they?" he asked rhetorically to her statement about where she was able to roam. If Sif couldn't be trusted, Thor didn't want to live in that world.
"I'm looking for a certain relic," Thor was being vague, king's prerogative. "But I'm happy for the company," he informed her then glanced toward the warrior. He smiled with a bit more mischief than he'd intended, then turned to move deeper into the vault. The Allfather was indeed glad Sif had appeared, though his feelings were conflicted. The king had meant to discuss his connections with both Eva and Sif before then, however he'd hesitated. The situation was more complicated than he'd originally thought. Bother.
"If you see a mask, call it out," he tempted the expert in Asgardian history with playfulness in his voice.
