Re: Halt! Who are you?
Baldr spoke of Nate, and Zap grinned. "I'm happy too," she told Nate, watching the volley between the men. She grinned at Baldr and squeezed his knee, then gave Nate a more meaningful look before the door was kicked in. Her torso jostled with laughter and the queen's fingers fell upon Thor's head when he came to her.
"I missed you," she promised the king, "and I love you," she had said before he began speaking of his excitement in Sif's return. He finished with another 'I love you', and she laughed: "I love you too." She kissed him a second time as Thor's hands lay in her lap, and then a feeling came over her - one that couldn't be mistaken or ignored. A fourth deity had entered the room. Her head angled to see around Thor's kingly noggin and she spied her... Sif. On her feet, looking full of vigor and beauty, and then she spoke.
"...I am glad the wait is ended."
"Hello," Zap said warmly. She held to Thor's hand, subconsciously (nerves?) and moved to stand. Sif spoke of her children and Eva's eyebrows rose with surprise, but not unhappily. "They outshine me, thankfully," Eva said sincerely and with pride. "Join us!" Zap said, hurriedly. "Don't go," she moved from Thor's side and walked toward Sif, then outstretched her arms. "I'm glad to see you safe, and I'm glad to have the chance to meet you," the lightning rod admitted. Her perspective on the situation was very different from Sif's, of course, so her tear droplets that touched to Sif's hair were probably not mirrored.
"Thank you," Sif said simply and returned the queen's embrace. There was emotion pouring from the ruler, and Sif felt honored. Eva had been told of her in-depth, she'd learned. "I'm so happy my dear friend has found the love he deserves," Sif told Eva. She squeezed the other woman to punctuate, then moved to take a step back. It seemed they had both gotten emotional... the fairer woman smiled and left her tear (or two) remaining on her cheekbones. Memories of the moment.
"Your monument is not up to par," Zap said with a laugh in her throat and gave a sniffle as she gestured to Sif's face, then down to her feet.
"You flatter me, Queen Eva. I've been promised that it will soon be removed," she glanced around the other woman to eye Thor with a playful threat.
"We're having Baldr's choice," she motioned for Sif to come to take a seat. So, nothing fancy, she smirked. "Sit down," she told the two men she loved most, then reclaimed her spot. "I don't know about you, but I'm ravenous," this was said to Sif.
"I am not unaccustomed to humble meals," she told the queen with a smile and moved to do as asked. She was glad to be around people, honestly.
"I just wanted to say, I was more of a voyeur in your departure from the astral realm - I can inhabit Minor, my bear, but he can also act on his own will. I saw your escape - your ferocity was impressive. I think," she glanced to Nate, "That I was too weak to actually participate. I also felt the influence of Frigga," something she'd experienced in the shattered of the Basin of Sigyn. "So, it seems like it was a group effort." She didn't want to dive into the experiences before Sif's escape, though, so she changed the subject: "Baldr told me the kingdom is rejoicing at your return." The queen grinned and looked to Thor, then.
