Re: Halt! Who are you?
Of course Nate was aware Eva had risen, the wizard was no second rate Hand of the Queen. With no desire to overwhelm, immediately, Nathaniel stuck to his strict morning schedule and ensured his spawn had been properly threatened for the school day. Nate had followed that with a sensible breakfast in his office then busied himself until his inclinations told him Eva was on the move. She'd joined Baldr and that felt like the proper time any to invite himself to second breakfast.
Nathaniel sent one message before he exited his office for the common room occupied by the Goddess of Magic and the God of Joy. Once he arrived, the adviser entered quietly with as little disturbance possible, aware he wasn't undetected. The sight of Eva's form, awake and at least appearing well, lifted the darker man's spirits.
"He's incredibly happy," Baldr motioned to Nate with his half-eaten loaf of bread.
"Excuse me, your majesty," Nate addressed the Prince as respectfully as possible with his bitter tone.
"The sight of Eva just now, it made you as joyful as I've ever seen you," Baldr explained without delay.
"Well, I... was worried about our queen," Nate added while his stride halted next to Eva's chair.
"Of course," Baldr said with a smile toward Eva, then filled his mouth with bread.
