Re: New phone, who dis?
Ever the charmer, Sif thought as Thor spoke of her return, but her only-slightly-touched expression turned to a sad grin in memory of their friends. The bed had tilted with the weight of an Allfather and she shifted once again, this time with more difficulty. It seemed the news of the Warriors had been taxing... and Thea had told her the wounds to her psyche would be slower to heal. She would have to take things more slowly, then.
Or, Thor could throw her into another rushing river of emotion. She had this.
"Married?" She blinked, then turned her head to face him and check his (strangely off) eyes for the truth in his statement. "Your real eye is missing," she interjected, which wasn't happy news, either, but she digressed. Not Jane. Check. Eva? "Eva," she locked it to memory. He was gushing! "Children?" Her heart began to pound again, then. "So soon?" More than one? Her mind reeled. Sif turned to better see him, slowly. "Married..."
"I shall love to meet them, all of them, but I fear that you've done me in," her hand squeezed Thor's and Sif let her body relax (she'd been tensed up, apparently) back into the mattress.
A statue. She wasn't surprised, but she was touched and honored. "I am sorry that I could not return to you sooner than this. Believe me, I would have far more enjoyed it. But I do know of Baldr. I believe his memory is what led me to return." It seemed as though she wasn't the only one who had suddenly recalled him recently.
"The raccoon is where we shall part," she ordered him out of the room. "Will you send Thea back to me, please, brother?" She felt a sadness creeping into her bones, possibly literally, and she also needed to embrace Fandral's child with all the might she had left in her.
