Re: New phone, who dis?
"Nearly!" Thor's face perked up when she mentioned his brother and the discovery of his heart. A true Grinch-like transformation, a Midguardian tale Mateo had taught him early in the Jol season. "Honestly, we couldn't have have succeeded without Heimdall, Eva, and our Midguardian allies," there was plenty of credit to go around, though he wondered if anyone had explained Eva was his wife and the queen. There was time, there was time.
Sif bowed and Thor's expression immediately soured, "No," he scolded, finger out and everything. "Not you, who has seen me at my worst," the Allfather commanded. Worst behaved anyway.
His smile returned only to be dashed again by Sif's next question. Thor's lips tightened and his core tensed up when the realization hit. His head began to rock gently back and forth while his eyes instantly watered. "Ooooh," he began, the pain fresh in his mind and then got his shit together for Sif. "Our brothers," a small trickle of tears beckoned forth but Thor didn't attempt to halt them. "Made the ultimate sacrifice for Asgard and fought," he stopped before he choked, "with honor," his fingers ran through his beard and another deep sigh followed. His hand reached for Sif's and Thor squeezed it tightly, eyes locked with Lady Sif. "You would have been," no. "We are all proud of our dear warriors," he assured her with a very kingly sniffle.
