Thea moved immediately to the sink once Loki had deposited Sif where she'd indicated. "Yes, get Brian." It would be good to have him there. "And thank you for staying." Most doctors, she'd learned, used gloves to make a barrier between themselves and the patient. In Thea's case, gloves would hinder what she could do.
She began to remove Sif's clothing, inspecting as she went. The dark-haired goddess had a lot of bruising and lacerations, but Thea felt that most of the trauma had been in her friend's brain. Her warm hands touched the wounds and they began, albeit slowly to heal. Thea could heal Sif's physical hurts, but mental ones took a different approach and more time.
Thea forced back tears as she concentrated on transferring her own energy into Sif to heal her. What had happened? How long had this been going on?
