The astral plane? Been in battle? The questions mounted faster than the answers could be found and yet Thor needed to be faster. Heimdall's steed approached and the king expressed a quick but silent thank you to his oldest friend. One bound of his legs brought the pair onto the horse's back, and Thor cradled Sif's body with one arm so that he could ensnare the reins with the other.
Thor rode with the literal wind as his back until Loki and Thea appeared in his path. The horse reared simply to avoid a collision with gods altogether and Thor fell gracefully from the side. The king dropped to one knee before Thea and supported Sif's weight with his arms and his thigh. "Please, Thea," the God of Thunder pleaded with the healer to do all she was capable of. "I will not bury another one of my friends," Thor swore with lament in his voice and the echoes of thunder in the skies above Asgard.
