Re: Influencer...
"Because it seems like something you'd want to be on same page about," Jon replied to Eva's question about being freaked out. "Well, I'm glad he'd ask," he told his daughter with a smile on his face.
When Eva asked for his opinion and assumed to know what way he'd been leaning, Forge's face twisted into something less than a grimace but more than a sigh. "I mean... it wouldn't be my choice..." Jon admitted to his only child. "But I'm not you," he clarified just in case she'd gotten confused. "If it makes you happy and you're not hurting anyone," he reasoned reasonably he thought. "My only concern, as your father," just in case she'd forgotten, "is that Thor's going to turn into Zeus or you know, Odin and start canoodling with every mortal that catches his eye," Jon explained. But unlike Odin or Freyr (for that matter) he'd known the God King for a minute now and no wayward orphans had rolled up to the palace door.
Forge held onto Eva's hands, in a sinkhole of her dress fabric, and simplified his stance. "I love you and I just want the best for you, and if this is what you want, fucking go for it," hadn't she earned it? He thought she had. "Besides, he's a mortal. If you get sick of him you always just off him," Jon told her with a smirk.
