Re: Pretty things...
The static-charged attack on his potatoes was a bit more than a playful tickle. Nate keenly deduced he'd said something to annoy Eva. Probably the outright dismissal of her traveling to Helheim. He was normally more aware of his boundaries, but their relationship had taken such a turn, he wasn't quite sure where he stood. Although, he knew that Eva wouldn't have taken kindly to anyone's foot being dropped. Not even her husband's or her father's... Caltrops took note, because his position didn't change. Helheim was the one realm in existence he'd attempt to dissuade her from journeying to. At least in both their current states.
Nathaniel was unsure if the added electricity was a warning, a punishment, or merely a notification, but it served as a spur. Those kisses they shared multiplied and intensified, "I know," Nate confirmed her note about his appearance. "I think," more kisses, "it saved," even more kissing, "my life," he admitted. "You're maddeningly beautifully but also... well concealed," he praised and cursed simultaneously. "I wonder what underwear was selected to pair with this ensemble?" he questioned aloud and his hands began to pull up feathers. "Should I investigate?"
