Re: Pretty things...
She was glad to hear Orrin's praise - both of the boots and of her admiration for the queen. It bolstered her spirits a bit higher. "Good," Tress interjected after his answer, but her lips shut again and she smiled until it reached her eyes after the centaur added to his reply. Her eyebrows rose in their moment of silence, encouraging him to speak - perhaps a word of wisdom before she entered? Advice? Something else?... Right. In they went.
Her back straightened, she sighed out the breath she'd been holding during her pause with Orrin, and she held her chin high when Orrin opened the door. "Thank you," Tress told him, warmly, then turned her full attention to her reason for visiting Alfheim.
"Your highness," Qiana bowed in a feminine way, as best she could in her gown, then rose up again and smiled at the giantess. "If I may?" she asked before approaching where the queen sat. "When I saw you at the Jol party, I was a bit... enamored with your stature and your style." Her face lit up a bit at this disclosure. "I spent the last week creating a gift for you, and I hope that you will enjoy these." She handed the box she had been carrying to Skadi then took a few steps backward again, giving the taller woman space and respect. "His majesty, Freyr, was kind enough to give me your specifications," she added as the box was opened, and grinned at the memory of the conversation she'd held with the ruddy-bearded king.
