"Loki." Not Thor, or Baldr, but Loki. The basin was shattered, and Zap had been a filter and catalyst for the memories that had been stolen from the realms. As the pieces lay spread across her grand desk, she reeled with information and emotion - mostly fear and love. It took all of her strength to stand, but very little deliberation to choose Loki as her first stop.
"Eva," he replied, quietly where he still sat in his room, also reeling. One might've thought he would have been relieved or glad, even, but he was mostly stunned. He had been involved in sending Baldr to hell... but by his mother's orders. He turned his gaze to the current queen, who had a familiar look upon her face that drove him to stand. She fully entered his chamber without permission and wrapped the slender man up in a fierce hug that he quickly returned.
He let out a howl, grief and agony escaping his lungs at once, as if they'd been hanging there the entire time he'd had his memories stolen away. Perhaps they had. "I miss her..." he whispered, then sniffled against Eva's dark hair. The queen squeezed him tightly and he gave in and clung to her for a long time before she spoke.
"You helped her, and him," she praised and confirmed, hand smoothing Loki's long black hair where his head was pressed against hers. "She knows, and he knows now too," the queen promised, of Frigga and Baldr. "I'm sorry." That he missed his mother, that Eva'd been so ready to believe his guilt, and that he had been raised in fear for so long before Odin came to his senses.
"I am sorry..." For inflicting the kind of terror upon the realm of Midgard that his father had upon countless other peoples. "I'd forgotten..." Of course he had, literally, but now that he could see the fires and bloodshed and pain and tears from the years of Odin's treacherous reign... it stung deep into his soul. "I'm so sorry..." He said this to Eva, but truly he was speaking to Frigga.
Zap knew, and she continued to hold him until Thor came to find her.
