Re: Far-off thunder...
He knew her so well, Nate thought with a smack-able smirk on his face. After he'd been grabbed, kissed, and massaged, Nate had been thoroughly dismissed. The wizard knew it wouldn't stick. "One more kiss." The Ridder met her halfway and finished that lower lip kiss Eva had abandoned him with a moment ago. "But what else do I have to do?" he asked facetiously because he always had more than enough to do. He met Eva's forehead with another kiss, "Okay, but what else do I want to do?" he clarified because obviously. All joking aside, and her erroneous statement about him being a terrible second, Nathaniel could tell that the queen was on to something. "Are you close to a breakthrough?" he offered his assistance via his eyes, but knew in his gut that Eva wanted to do this alone. "Don't stay away too long," he warned and allowed his long arms to untangle themselves from her draped hourglass figure. "I'll be covering for you, like a good second," he explained when he got out of the way of the door.
