Re: Health is the greatest gift.
She'd spoken to Thor. The second biggest issue the adviser had mentally been dealing with in the last forty-eight hours was suddenly clear. Her words healed him like a balm across his burnt skin and Caltrops felt rejuvenated from the worries of his life. His scientific mind wanted to ask questions, probe the details of her conversation with Thor, the details of their apparently more "traditional" Asgardian marriage. But the back-to-back life changing events Nathaniel had just lived through (the discovery of Eva's shared feelings and the appearance of Brayden's still-mysterious mutation) had left the wizard's mind a bit tired.
Perhaps that was why when Eva scooted forward and hugged him again, Nate had no intention of letting the queen go that easy. Her final words translated into his brain differently than she most likely meant them. Nathaniel stood, arms still wrapped around Eva and he took the electrokine with him. Their lips met and he kissed her with a combination of passion and joy he'd never expected. Relief exploded from Nate on a level he'd frankly found unnerving, but he was hardly in a position to shut it down.
He continued to kiss her, in defiance of anyone that might discover them in the middle of the day. "All I want to be is yours," he echoed her statement about her ownership from their lovemaking. Whatever came of it, Eva could certainly feel his devotion - it had been there since the first time she'd kissed him a few minutes ago. "You make me more than just happy," he assured her, his eyes lost in her own starry little worlds.
