Re: Faithfulness is the best relationship.
What a pile of dog turds she was. Oh, he had more to say, thank god. Of course he did... he was Pete. Wait, what? "...and the best time of my life." Her eyebrows rose, her feet had slowed, and it wasn't until Colossus offered her the last of the java that she realized he'd said anything else and that they were still walking. "What?" She took a last, long swill and threw the cup on the ground dramatically. Then she stopped and picked it up and jogged to a bin and then jogged back to Pete's side. Huff. "First off, are not a lovesick puppy," at least not about her. She saw him trollin'. "You're right about Jimmy, though," she conceded, "and I'll talk to him." Even though she felt the obligation of it choking her throat the closer to the palace they walked. Subconsciously, she pulled her sweat shirt loose on her neck.
"Second..." Sigh. "I miss you too," she gave him a sad, 'those were the days' smile. "But life is hard and also lonely."
"Stop being so Russian," Shadowcat demanded; "you weren't supposed to agree with me!" Her face then promptly smushed against Pete's upper arm as they walked and she let her body relax a bit as the giant at her side helped her stay upright. "Cuddles, right?"
