Re: Contentment is the greatest wealth.
Suddenly, Baldr was being handed a baby. His baby nephew to be exact. The God of Light and Joy carefully accepted the bundle of both those things with a rather unexpected smile on his lips. "He's heavier than he looks," Baldr admitted with even more respect for Eva than the already high level he'd held before. Prince Torben stirred, only for a moment at the transfer, but the newborn's eyes hadn't open. The uncle decided this was a success. "It's been ages since I held an Asgardian baby," Baldr said mindlessly with most of his attention focused on the young boy's face. Baby animals? That was something the forest dwelling deity was an expert on. One day, warrior James would soon discover Baldr was the reason his eagle returned from his hunts empty clawed.
"What's this?" Thor intentionally quoted the puppet skeleton, only because the Midguardians in his midst seemed to be obsessed with the character. Especially his new God of Autumn... who would discover his ascension quite soon. "My wife allowing one of my brothers to hold my son?" The Allfather stepped close to Eva and gently wrapped his arm around her midsection to secure their connection at the hip. "You must have done something right, Baldr," Thor smirked, in complete disregard to how this might look to his other brother. Because in Thor's world, not everything was a 1:1 comparison.
"Certainly seems so," Baldr answered his brother and gently rocked Torben to ensure the child's continued rest.
"Oh, I know!" Thor pulled the cellular phone his wife had given him and unlocked the screen. "I need a picture," he debated for a moment on what application to open before his dumb thumb selected one. "What filter should I use?" he asked Eva without looking away from the screen.
