Re: But he was my trouble.
Nathaniel panted patiently between kisses from Eva and happily accepted them on the top his head. His muscles were too preoccupied with rediscovering their strength. His multiple orgasms had been spirit-draining enough, but Eva's bolts of electric bliss added a new facet for Nate. Her speechlessness was contagious and the rather wordy wizard settled for a series of contented grunts and groans to voice his approval.
After a short period of reclamation, Nate smirked toward Eva and his hinges creaked when he straightened his back toward the ceiling. Caltrops chuckled, softly, at nothing really - the generally euphoria his mind and body had just swam through. He carefully untangled himself and allowed his boots to hit the floor, one of the few pieces of his clothes that remained. With one last glance at his beloved friend, queen, and now lover - Nathaniel's arms reached down and lifted her from the table. He cradled Eva and carried her from the hard surface, and moved toward the corner of the room. The chaise, a piece of furniture apparently required by the Asgardians, slid on its own toward them and Nate gently planted the Goddess of Magic onto its soft cushioned surface. Once her back was secure against the slope, his arm extended and snapped across the humid air. His cape, the one from the Yule, appeared in his hand and Caltrops once again covered Eva in its softness.
Nathaniel sat close to her feet, which were covered by the over-sized garment, and his body laid forward to rest on her knee. "You held back," he acknowledged with a hazy grin. "That's okay," Nate confirmed completely sure her full force of lightning would have destroyed him... though, not the worst way to go. "I don't have a next move," the adviser who normally planned everything with his next three moves in mind admitted. "But I'm..." in love. "Um, did I mention it had been a while?" he tried to explain. "And you're really..." he attempted to explain Eva's magnificence with eye motions and hand gestures.
The adviser's mind started to lock up with the most unpleasant paradox. Eva was married to Thor, they were happily married, she wouldn't have cheated, but they'd just... He wanted this relationship with Eva to continue, but could it? "I need you in my life," he finally formed his thoughts into a sentence.
