Thea had just finished drying her hands when Loki popped in just behind her and began speaking. She nearly dropped the cloth she held, but managed to turn around with a smile for the mischievous one. "I do not think I have ever felt hotter." Thea said, with a wry smile as she used a newly acquired Midgardian phrase.
She moved from around the table to stand closer to the dark-haired one. "It's taken quite a bit of getting used to," she admitted, with a small smile and lift of one shoulder. "But I thank the Allfather, because it enabled me to help when I was needed." Their queen did not need to be going into to the land of death anytime, let alone when she was with child.
Her eyes searched Loki's face and she smiled. She could tell he was sincere in his words. "Thank you, Loki. I only hope I can teach those who wish to be taught." She and the other doctors had learned much from each other, she thought. "I have a feeling, though, that you did not just come here to congratulate me."
