Re: Boi-oi-oing.
Her booted feet hit more solid ground as she made it back to Loki and Minor. The voice that issued forth caused her to falter as she almost stumbled towards the shimmering bear. The whole place lit up as the dead tree caught fire. Sutur showed himself and Thea's mouth went dry. Though he wasn't speaking to her, she could still feel the malevolence in his every word to Loki.
As the males spoke to one another and Thea's mouth was set in a grim line. Asgard would continue to survive as well as thrive. Ragnarok would not happen this day, she was certain. "Come to me as soon as I get to the top," she said to Loki in a quiet voice, so Surtur didn't hear (she hoped). "Eva!" she shouted to the bear, "In front!" She honestly wanted the bear to stay with Loki, but if any more of the attackers came at her, Minor could take care of them quickly and it wouldn't hinder her running. There was a pathway around, but it was not a short one. They had gone hundreds of feet down, after all. Her goddesshood helped her speed immensely, but her lungs still burned with the effort of running upward for such a time.
"LOKI!" she screamed down into the depths, her voice going hoarse with the effort. "Come on!" She waited a few more precious seconds, hoping he would listen to her. Then she shouted for Heimdall, who immediately sent the Bifrost, it's bright light searing it's way through her closed eyelids as she and Minor were transported home.
