Loki quickly dispatched the third ruffian and they were alone once more. Thea's eyes met Loki's for a few moments before they continued on their way. She'd seen Loki make duplicates of himself before, but this time, she was almost glad he did so. She moved closer to the actual Loki and watched as he opened the blood gates (with a dirty knife, no doubt). "Yes, thank you" she answered, giving him a small, wan smile. "I will be glad when this deed is done."
She followed Loki (while Minor followed her) into the palace and she was filled with a feeling of dread. The whole place had her nerves on end. Thea felt fortunate that the bowl was only one level down from where they were currently. A sickly, yellowish-green glow was coming from the sconces on the walls. At least there was a bit more light in here than they'd had previously. "Do you know how to get down there?" she asked in a whisper. "Do we have to fight something?" Thea really wanted the answer to be 'no.'
