"Ah. That's... kind." He felt a bit queasy, but the Brit also had a tiny glimmer of hope that his still-friend Omen might need a shoulder to cry on, at least. Or someone to talk things through with. Britannic had no intention of pursuing Will. If their relationship could begin to heal more deeply, he was glad for that.
"You two kind of deserve each other," Troy said as he pushed himself to stand with his hands on the arms of the chair. "I'm pretty busy, but I wanted to take the time to sort shit out, you know?"
"I do know. Thanks so much, Troy," Brian replied, the normal level of baffled and insulted he usually was after an interaction with Hemlock. "I'm grateful for your time."
"No problem," Troy said, already opening the door to leave. He didn't look back.
