Re: Of course, when I say 'we', I mean 'you'.
"I'll leave him alone, then," she said, of Heimdall. Zap's face had erupted into a grin and she laughed at Thor's explanation of his woes. When his hand came to rest on her leg, Eva held to it appreciatively. "There isn't much that hasn't been on my mind, lately," she admitted. Heavy were the heads that wore the crowns. He was right, though, she loved a good bath. But this one was for Thor. And also for the purposes of merrymaking. "You mean everything to me. What I'm feeling is probably because of my mortal mindset. I should let these ideas and inclinations pass me by because eventually, they will, and no longer matter. Where the heart's concerned, I mean." She slid into the water because she felt exposed in multiple ways.
Under the water's surface was their soon-to-be second child. Above Zap's head was a weight that needed to be lifted. She took Thor's hands and squeezed them hard with the tension she'd accidentally let build in her core. "I love you." Nope. She felt light-headed. "Later. We can talk about it later. I need to calm down..." Zap held to his hands and even let a little electricity flow out and over Thor under the water to help her body relax. "It can wait, really..." she said calmly, eyes closed as she exhaled. Her body shifted and she came to sit between his legs, then laid back over Thor's chest. "I love you," the goddess repeated, content once again. And safe.
