Re: Of course, when I say 'we', I mean 'you'.
"You are," Loki insisted. "Either Thor hasn't been informed, or your intent is to go alone in secret, in which case, why tell me?" Oh. "Am I to stop you? What about Nathaniel, surely he'd intervene?"
She smiled a small one. "You couldn't stop me," the queen argued, confidently, but also knowing that she had no intention to travel to Helheim, he was right about that. "Neither could Nate. I did want to say goodbye, though."
"Because I am going," the black-haired man surmised.
"If you wouldn't mind," she said to her brother-in-law.
"I see." She'd been testing him, of course. He sighed, with a quiver of annoyance in his exhale. "I will speak with Thea then, before we depart. But," he had a caveat, "I would have stopped you, regardless of this ruse. That is my niece, after all." He pointed to Eva's middle and his chin rose, marking the end of that conversation.
Zap's expression went from annoyed to pleased as he finished speaking his mind on the topic. "So glad to hear it. You passed with flying colors."
