Re: The longest night of the year.
There were a total of seven people who Nate would have paused his incredibly important work for... Rhiannon was fortunate she was one of them. The ginger forest dweller was also lucky that he'd sensed her presence with the woodland creature who'd so rudely hitched a ride on his shoulder.
Not far from the tree line, on the Asgardian location Xavier's new branch had been built upon, Nate discovered Rhia at her altar. Regardless of the fact she'd just hijacked a squirrel, while Rhia's body was clearly there, her mind seemed distant. Nathaniel had no doubt the reason. "I know all..." his dry delivery was nearly a fire hazard so close to all these fallen leaves. "But if you're specifically speaking about your newfound parentage... I know slightly less." Unfortunately... or fortunately, depending on your point of view, it had been a busy week on Asgard.
Caltrops stood not far from Rhia, arms secured tightly behind his back. "You're a fairy princess... congrats." His eyes widened and his hand appeared briefly to mimic confetti being thrown into the air. "Not all it's cracked up to be?" he inquired, with a small smile to let her own he did actually care.
