Re: Planning for the future.
Jimmy wasn't typically known for his ability to slow-play relationships... or for even having relationships. But after their wedding hookup and pancake-fueled sunrise date(?), Warpath had given Shadowcat some space. And not by ghosting her. They'd stayed in touch via text because Jimmy had known the teenage mutant ninja long enough not to scare her away. However, the fact that he didn't want to scare her away was an entirely different part of the story. Why had someone so drastically different from Jimmy captured his attention so completely?
"Yo." The aspect of carnality appeared, hands stuffed into this hoodie pockets, and eyes pointed upward toward the little kitty. "We gonna Yule up this bitch?" Jimmy asked, with the utmost respect for the season. "You want me put some reindeer on the roof or untangle a massive ball of lights?" he said, chill factor set to one hundred, until he realized he'd missed Shadowcat over the past few days. "You look good." Wow... smooth, his brain cursed his mouth.
