Re: Planning for the future.
She'd only found out that morning, so this was her first chance to share the news - but she did, however, revel in the fact that it seemed like she'd been keeping a secret from him. Zap grinned and squirmed under his attack, but as Thor began to speak again, her smile returned to the more calm fashion she'd worn when he arrived. He liked the name; good. It was hard to tell if a certain name or place might crop up a bad memory for the 1,500-year-old. Her hands came to rest on him where they could (since she was encased in Allfather), and Eva sighed with contentment.
"I love you too," the sentiment was returned tenfold. If not for their teamwork and tenacity, both as a couple and as friends, they wouldn't have nearly the amount of cherished loved ones or possessions they now kept. She shut her eyes and hadn't opened them until after their second smooch, and that was when she searched his half-organic eyes for courage but thought better of it. Later. She'd mention it later. Now they were celebrating and alone and happy. Zap needed it, too, the respite from her self-inflicted workhorse ways. "Torben's growing quickly. Thea told me that's the norm, that he's actually behind?" Her eyebrows rose as if she were surprised again at hearing the sentence out loud. "When we were on Earth for those months, building this place, he was developing like a Midgardian - it's why he came so quickly when we relocated." He'd had a chance to flourish like his Asgardian father. "So we should plan for her arrival sooner than later." She smiled at that, and hugged her husband tighter.
