Baldr smirked, she'd prevented him from standing and he realized how predictable he really was. When Eva had spoken, Baldr had trusted her. He wondered if it was because she'd been so willing to trust him immediately, or if Eva's aura of assurance was merely that powerful. "Thank you, sister." He used the familial term not simply because it was apt, she had just married his brother, but she'd shown him more sisterly affection than his actual sister could have every mustered.
His face lazily drifted toward her direction when she asked about his needs. The question had taken Baldr a bit by surprise, but the answer did not require much thought. "I know you are very busy..." He'd started and gave Eva a perfectly good reason to reject his request. "But, I'd rather not be alone." Most people had given the Odinson his space, a gesture he appreciated but also found unfortunate. "I wouldn't dare monopolized your time," he clarified quickly. "But is there somewhere I can go where I won't draw too much attention?"
