Re: The moon glows round and bold.
Eva gave a 'golf clap' where Logan could see her hands but Mateo could not, then her eyes went wide before she could comment on her father's trickery. Oh no. She steeled herself - "Lit fuse," she confirmed, then turned to face their son, and took a cupcake for courage.
The corners of her mouth forced themselves down as Mateo explained his and Brayden's plot... until they frown she'd made nearly hurt her cheek muscles, but the laugh came forth anyway. After a huge exhale: "Noooo..." Zap's face neared the cake in her hand and she nipped some icing off while shaking her head with amused disapproval at the young men. "For all we know, both of those things could've also been true," she told Wolverine - of hauntings and Troy. Her feet kicked lightly below the table as she struggled to chew the bite she'd finally taken as she laughed with Logan... "This went on for hours." The queen snorted.
After licking up the icing from her upper lip, she leaned over and pulled a dreadlock near the front of 'Teo's mop. "Hey, mister - pick a new target next time. Your mama relies on Petr a lot," she smirked. "I'm glad you're spending time in the library, though..." The mother winked at the son, then turned to the father. "I'm not surprised though - he's distracted on a regular basis, but we've put a lot on his shoulders lately." While she spoke, her right hand had snagged another cupcake, and when she finished, she smooshed it into Logan's face.
