Re: The moon glows round and bold.
Yule was fine, they could talk about Yule. It was certainly more appropriate for Mateo's ears. That didn't mean, however, she was off the hook about her new family situation. This new guy was going to be his son's uncle after all. "Meat and beer is a good start." Wolverine admitted, with a smirk.
"I told you," Logan said toward Mateo. "Your Papa Jon is Santa." The Canadian shared this fact with Eva, who might not have been aware.
"Because he can see me when I'm sleeping?" The nine-year-old asked because of his grandfather's ability to know things he shouldn't have.
"And..." Logan spurred on his son.
"He knows if I've been bad or good." Mateo added, a bit sheepishly.
"Exactly," Wolverine said, proud of himself. "Speaking of bad or good, wait until you hear about Mateo and Brayden's latest frickin' doozy of an idea." His eyes went wide, though his lips threatened to curve into a smile. "Eva, I don't know which one of them is the ringleader or if they're just an explosive waitin' to be set off..." He told her. "Tell her, boy."
"Um...." Mateo hesitated, but couldn't withstand the attention of all four of his parents eyes at once. "We thought it would be funny to keep refilling Petr's book cart in the library. He just leaves it there and walks away for a long time." Because that made it okay.
"It was pretty funny." Logan added, smile now visible. "Eva, this Asgardian boy... I think he thought the library was haunted or Troy was messing with him." Wolverine allowed a chuckle to escape, though he was upset. "This went on for hours," he could have howled.
