Re: Bringing those new musings...
He was blocking a good portion of the light from her window. Eva closed the door to her private, off-throne room waiting area and stepped towards a workspace/desk where she had various books, tools, and papers and the odd electronic (not as much use to her now). "Hello doom, I'm gloom, it's nice to make your acquaintance," the queen said with a grand curtsey as she neared Nate. She sighed when she stood and looked him in the eye. "Fought bigger," Zap quoted her husband's catchphrase. Honestly, she had. She wasn't overwhelmed but felt more akin to having an itch that demanded scratching.
"Ten points to Slytherin for those robes though," she teased and moved to sit in a soft chair with a tall back. "Okay, sorry, it's all out of my system," the goddess promised the mage. Solemn vow. "You sensed what I sense," Zap dove in. "He's good, he's honest, but he can't tell us anything else, and Loki's hiding in the broom closet - also someone who can't tell us much else." She didn't guess. But she'd been wrong about Loki so many times. The benefit of the doubt he no longer had. "I have Pétr on the case, as well, so from a historical standpoint, we're covered. From a magical standpoint, which is obviously the root of the issue, we need to pry..." She was prepared for prying. "I had a thought, though, before I 'went to sleep' last night. If we combined blood samples from Thor and Baldr, if there was a ritual that could show their true bond, or maybe break the spell; pierce the veil? Undo something that'd been changed. We are still sure it was Odin's doing, right? Loki being so young and Frigga being so..." impossibly good. Ahem. "If I lost one of my children because of their sibling's actions, and thought all was lost, I can't say it wouldn't seem merciful to have my mind wiped... And much safer for the sibling that remained." Gods help her that her sons never quarreled to the point of life and death.
"Sit down." He was pacing. A chair came from behind him.
