Re: What it is!
When Eva stood, Heimdall stood, then made his way to Thor's side. He leaned in close to his oldest (living) friend. "I will wait outside, we have much to discuss," the adviser told the troubled king. The darker man knew when Thor was unhappy, without having witnessed his obvious body language as everyone else had. They would have to work on the crown Thor was required to wear which was called a facade. He patted the blond man on the shoulder, bowed his head to the queen, then took his leave. He knew right where Loki was. His best guess said Thor did as well.
"You're right," Zap said, in agreement with Thor about Nate's opinion on Loki's behaviors. When her father asked about Baldr's pathway to the dark realm, she felt Nate had glazed over it some. His look to her had been received and accepted, though. Pleasantly surprised, she was, when Jimmy piped up and offered his expertise. She smiled at her fellow Native until her cheekbones were as pronounced as his shoulder pads. "Consider yourself on call, Troy," she slipped in between his and Freyr's chat. As for the rituals...
"I'm open to learning," the queen said with amusement and a bit of leeriness in her tone. "But I think I've proven myself in that arena." She then stuck her tongue out at Freyr, and he stuck his tongue out at her, and the goddess of magic gave the first real laugh she'd uttered in the past twelve or more hours. With Heimdall's seat vacant, things seemed to have come to a natural close. "We should get to work, then." Everyone was already on their feet, and she turned to Thor and placed her hands on his upper arms. "I'll talk to you soon - hopefully we'll both have good news to swap." She rose up on her boot-clad feet and kissed the king on the cheek, then squeezed his hand as she moved out of his path. Once Jimmy had left, she looked to Forge. "Can you make sure 'Teo and Brayden don't get carted off to Alfheim before we're ready to join them?" she smirked - but was dead serious.
