"Hi." Ronan echoed, even in Asgard the actual world was a bit dimmer and uglier than Gael's dreamscapes. A harsh wake up call. Sometimes Ronan even agreed with Cypher from the Matrix, ignorance was bliss.
Dream tears equaled real tears and Mars discovered his skin was fresh with them, but when the Irishman repositioned his body to sit he ignored the moisture. "I really gave it some thought." Ronan confessed his outright refusal of Gael's wishes. "But the day I become a cage..." Mars didn't finish his thought because he didn't think he needed to.
If there had been another person or had Ronan done something stupid, Mars would have fought tooth and claw for Gael's affections. But there wasn't anyone to fight except Gael and he didn't have the heart for that. "Ye've got plenty of time ta make bigger mistakes than me," he told her with a small chuckle and his arms ensnared the pixie for a last real world hug. "I don't have a gracefully exit," he shared, because he'd simply never let go of her if left to his own devices.
