Re: Bringing those new musings... "What time is it?"
Conlan was not aware, but they were warm so he also didn't care.
"Do you remember taking our formals off?"
"Yes." The Irishman shared with a grin so large his face creaked when it had formed. "Ye're welcome." Conlan happily took the credit for Qiana being out of her dress and into her cuddly PJs - and not because he did anything naughty, simply because it had not been easy.
Zap had been mentioned, but Sentient thought he might have fallen asleep again.
"I'm so glad you agreed to stay here with me..."
"It's a struggle." Conlan explained, as though cuddling with the curvy Latina in her palace bedroom was a downgrade from the Murphy house. Spoiler, it was not. His lanky arms pulled Tress closer by whatever parts of her they happened to be near. Qiana was soft, warm, and smelled like yesterday's makeup mixed with magic. Conlan wouldn't have had it any other way. "Can I tell ye a secret?" He'd started and only paused to kiss the beautician's forehead. "When you started to dance with the big sexy horse man..." Sentient remembered his name, but that was funnier. "I got jealous, but not the normal 'why are ye staring at that sexy traffic cone' illogical type of Murphy jealousy..." Yeah, his Irish clan had a type of irrational jealousy. What of it? "I just imagined ye lookin' at him the way ye look at me and I couldn't handle it." Conlan confessed, "I believed I'd have tried ta fight that centaur warrior..." Sentient said it out loud to punctuate how insane that situation would have been. "I'd have died," he added with a chuckle.
