Warpath happily relented when the karate-fighting-gymnast python'd him, even though it broke their short-lived rhythmic airborne dance. The Apache understood what the total lock-down meant, but had his suspicions confirmed when he sensed Kitty's energy release into the ether. The storm which orbited them came to a crescendo and settled into something much more peaceful. The tranquility, Jimmy realized, was in part because they'd both finished. Still completely connected to Shadowcat, Warpath had been so immersed into Kitty's experience - her vitality, spirit, and spark... the Native had quietly reached his own climax with relative calm.
The moment of serenity engulfed Jimmy and for the first time since that night in the woods, he felt centered... and quiet. The universe warping void that had formed around them dissipated into the air, along with their gravity-defying bubble. Their combined form fell, quickly, until Jimmy's mutation instinctively caught them. Light as a feather and stiff as a board, Warpath planked over the ground with Kitty safety nestled atop him. "I'll make you pancakes." He assured her, between deep breaths and confirmed that he'd enjoyed her Prince reference.
Jimmy held the ninja-cat and started to fiddle with the errant strands of her hair, which had escaped her up-do. He raised his chin in an attempt to find her eyes, curious if she was as freakin' high as he was. "I feel like I saw the creation of the universe and tasted a fresh Twix all at the same time." He shared, a bit baked but really happy. "I think you broke me but in a good way?" He chuckled and felt the sudden urge to never fight or hunt again. He hoped that faded, but also didn't. "Hey." Jimmy performed a midair sit-up and formed his body into a floating 'L' shape, Kitty still in his lap. "Don't freak out, but this isn't just a wedding thing, right?" Warpath realized he'd caught feelings but instead of terrifying him, he wanted to embrace them. Weird.
