Then, after he had finally come to his conclusion, she laughed in his face. "I haven't had a single drink tonight, Jimmy..." she trailed off, disbelief apparent on her face, mild amusement fringing the edges. Wow. Shadowcat sighed and looked down between them to gather her thoughts. She took a step back. "I wasn't trying to write you off, y'know. You have feelings, you're not just some jackass that you try to portray. I understand. Just don't think I was trying to use you..."
