"Happy married," Thor saluted his stepson and now-prince of the realm when he'd been carried off the field of battle. The precocious Mateo had made his ancestors proud, the All-father thought with a smirk which lasted well into Eva's renewed attention. "I know, you proclaimed it in front of all these people," Thor reminded her with a playful tone that matched his jovial expression. Eva's final words, while probably meant to be fairly innocent, provoked a less impish yet more mischievous glance. "I've been waiting all day to hear... those... words." His bearded chin collided with her temple and Thor gently kissed her skin, just below her new crown. "However... we do have one minor issue." The king informed his new bride, well after she'd taken her vows and officially become part of his dysfunctional family. Thor pulled away in order to form meaningful eye-contact with his radiant queen. "And it's locked in the southern tower." His brow raised though his voice remained at a whisper. King Thor would explain things to Eva and after more of the guests had retired, the newlyweds would handle their first problem as the rightful King and Queen of Asgard.
