They were still moving when he mentioned the sunrise, and some of her actually felt like taking part. She smiled at the thought, then it widened when he called her Cinderella. She laughed. "I will absolutely remind you," the Hebrew ninja vowed. She glided outward, was pulled back a bit, and he played the gentleman with a bow and his lips against the back of her hand. She shook her head, answering his last question, but her mind was light years away.
Something had clicked. She felt different.
It was Japanese pop music, and an airport, and it was 2 am. However, Shadowcat couldn't shake the feeling of being in a Russian ballroom ala Anastasia, wearing a sparkling gown and a sash... Mikail would've worn sharp black boots and epaulets...
Kitty squeezed his hand, trying to hold on to that gravity she'd mentioned wanting to escape earlier. This wasn't one of his tricks or illusions. This was inside her. This was what Kitty felt. He'd made her feel like... she was special. He'd taken her away, physically, but then mentally. Her eyes shifted from side to side and then she focused in on Mikhail. "Home?" Ugh. "Should we head home?" She corrected, then took a step forward to let him know she was ready.
